Volunteer/Audition (Teens will be auditioning)
Roles needed: 2-Girls, 1-Teen boy, 2-Adult men, 2-Any age boys (Outlaw characters) for Thurs. only
Rehearsal is during the volunteer meetings and then during the first two hours of VBS each day, the drama takes place from 11:40-Noon
As a VBS worker, I pledge to:
• Arrive by my assigned time.
• Come prepared to fulfill my responsibilities for the day.
• Complete all expectations set forth by the VBS leadership.
• Follow the established "3 strike" policy when dealing with problems with students.
• Fill out Southland's background check form (18+ only)
• Be a godly example and an encouragement to the children, parents, and
other workers.
**Abide by, and not contradict the following doctrines in my interactions with students:
— The Bible alone is God’s inspired and perfect word, and all our beliefs and teachings are rooted in the 66 Books of the Old and New Testament.
— God is eternal, perfect, and good. He’s the Creator, has always been, and always will be. He is also triune in nature, meaning the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are all equally and fully God, yet not separate ‘gods,’ there is only one God.
— All of humanity has sinned, and is therefore in need of salvation to have a restored relationship with God. To provide this salvation, Jesus willingly offered Himself in our place, and through His death and resurrection that salvation has been made available to all mankind.
— The ONLY way to receive this salvation is to believe in/trust that He alone accomplished these things. This salvation is a gift that cannot be earned, and can only be received by faith in Jesus.
